Dress Code

Academic Attire for Students 

All LBUSD K-8 schools require that students follow a uniform clothes policy. Please read our guidelines so that you will be fully aware of what is and is not acceptable in student dress at Burbank Elementary School. Students are expected to be dressed in the appropriate uniform daily. 

Burbank School Uniform
Tops:
  • White, light blue or dark navy blue solid with a collar (exception:  Burbank t-shirts available for sale at office)
  • Long or short sleeves
  • No strapless, spaghetti straps, off the shoulder, low-cut, or tank tops
Bottoms:
  • Dark navy blue solid pants, shorts, skirts, or jumpers
  • No spandex or lycra
  • No logos or writing, larger than a thumb on clothing (exception:  Burbank t-shirts)
  • No oversized, baggie-style clothing
  • Belts must be a fitted length and end must be tucked into the belt loops
  • No jeans/denim (of any color)
  • No sweats (solid leggings are OK ONLY under skirts or short
Outerwear:
  • Sweaters, sweatshirts, or jackets in uniform colors
Footwear:
  • Shoes must cover the entire foot
  • No sandals or any other open-toed or open heeled footwear may be worn
  • No high heels may be worn
